Backlog 2026 - May Part 5: Deus Ex

Deus Ex - PC (GOG) Retired 13th May 2026 The original Deus Ex is a game that I have heard about for many years and it seems to always be highly praised. I have wanted to play the original for quite some time, but I have never gotten around to it. When it was on offer for a limited time as free on GOG.com I immediately decided to claim the game and added it to my library. While I have never played the original game in the series I am not a stranger to the Deus Ex sequel - I have played both Human Revolution and Mankind Divided and I have completed and enjoyed both games. Well, after having played a little of the game I ultimately decided to retire Deus Ex - it was just not for me. Considering I was able to claim the game for free I am glad that I was able to experience Deus Ex and understand what the first game in the series was like.
