A Plague Tale Requiem - PS5 Completed 13th July 2026 I played and enjoyed the original A Plague Tale (or as I like to call it 'The Floor is Rats") game and highly enjoyed my time. I played the original game on PC as it was featured as a Free to Claim title in 2022. I wrote brief thoughts about the original on the How Long to Beat website: "Another game that was offered for free on Epic. I had heard good things about the title and boy I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It is not the most challenging game, but it had a compelling narrative that kept me coming back to finish the story. Looking forward to playing the sequel." The Sequel, Requiem, I find to be a rather conflicting sequel - on one hand it has very enjoyable stealth and rat avoiding moments like the first and the budget seems like it was higher for the sequel, but there are some frustrating moments that I felt were out of place compared to the original game.
